Cielo continues to meet and achieve ambitious goals in the Asia Pacific region, with 2018 having seen landmark growth in the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) provider’s APAC client base, industries served, languages spoken and workforce strength.

In 2018, Cielo partnered with a global life sciences company to transform the organization’s talent acquisition function across 10 countries throughout the region into a robust, consistent and agile model. In the first six months of the solution, the Cielo team reduced time-to-fill by 25%, reduced agency use significantly to under 2%, and saw improved candidate quality as documented in hiring manager surveys.
Cielo also helped a new luxury retail organization, a first-time user of RPO, to achieve their recruitment fill rates for 2018 and expanded the solution beyond Asia to support North America as well.
Additional highlights for Cielo’s APAC team in 2018 include:
- Increasing client portfolio by 50%
- Adding 100 new team members across 10 countries, and promoted or progressed 10% of team members to new roles
- Winning new clients in new industries, including retail, travel, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, construction and chemicals
- Adding language capabilities to include Vietnamese, Thai, Bahasa Indonesia and Korean
Industry analysts also recognized Cielo’s efforts, awarding the organization Best RPO Provider at the Asia Recruitment Awards and the HR Vendors of the Year in Singapore and Hong Kong. HRO Today honored Cielo’s partnership with Smiths Group with the award for Partnership in Recruiting Excellence.
