Happy Lunar New Year 2021 – Year of the Ox
Cielo China was officially launched in March 2020. This was at the start of the Covid-19 global pandemic which provided both economic and personal challenges to all businesses and their employees. Cielo China played a significant role in helping businesses adapt to this new working environment in the Greater China Region by delivering a number of talent acquisition services and solutions. Here is a recap of our business activities and achievements in 2020:
Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO)
Organisations need innovative and scalable talent acquisition solutions to compete for the best talent that ultimately provides the business with a competitive edge. Cielo China provides RPO solutions that combine the power of expert recruiters, best-in-class process, technology and employer brand activation, tailored to fit our clients’ talent and business goals. Our RPO solutions reduce time to hire and improve the quality of candidates, whilst delivering an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience through an efficient hiring process. In 2020 we expanded our ongoing RPO client engagements across the life sciences, technology and advance manufacturing sectors. We are also onboarding several new clients as the China market continues to open up further in the new year and we continue to make investments in people, technology and sourcing expertise.
Cielo China deploys dedicated recruitment teams to our clients, either on a project or long term (business as usual) basis, managing all or part of the recruitment function. We use the latest and relevant technology to enable business and talent acquisition leaders to source the best candidates and make data-driven decisions. We become part of the client’s organisation by living their values and vision and are passionate about serving as protector and ambassador of their employer’s brand. At Cielo, we call this our WE BECOME YOU philosophy.
Each client is supported by Cielo’s client services team that ensures process consistency and service excellence in day-to-day operations. This is especially critical to manage through peaks and trough in hiring, leveraging data and insight for continuous improvement.
Executive Search & Selection
This has been in operation, in China, since 2000, providing executive search and selection services to over 20 clients on an annual basis. Since 2020, we have welcomed a further 23 clients ranging from automotive, engineering, IT, fashion and FMCG sectors.
In what was a challenging year from all perspectives, we placed a Country President for an international medical device corporation and several other mid to senior level management roles, across multiple sectors. We are able to provide additional searches in other North Asia countries and have demonstrated our capabilities throughout the APAC region.
Human Resources Outsourcing
The HRO License is a rarely granted permit to foreign-owned recruitment firms in China and we are proud to deliver this unique solution to businesses in China. All customers are international companies in fashion, FMCG, sourcing and technology sectors.
