Lori Armstrong, DNP, RN is CEO & Chief Clinical Officer at Inspire Nurse Leaders. Maximizing her experience at the nation's most prestigious academic medical centers, Lori coaches and consults on change management, strategic planning, operational effectiveness, leadership development and quality improvement. Prior to consulting, Lori served as Chief Nursing Officer at premier healthcare systems including Kaiser Permanente, New York Presbyterian and Texas Children’s Hospital. She also serves as Adjunct Faculty at Drexel University’s College of Nursing where she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership.
Scott Becker is former COO of Alternative Solutions Health Network (ASHN), an outsourced post-acute management organization partnering with healthcare organizations, including hospitals, health insurance, skilled nursing, and senior living organizations. In addition to Becker’s unique experience in developing outsourced relationships within the healthcare market, he brings global manufacturing and operations experience.
Stephen is a non-executive director at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Trust. His other roles include Chairman of a large private-office backed entity providing NHS general practice (community primary care) support services across the UK, and Chair of a health coalition which represents the policy interests of the UK’s larger private hospital providers and medical insurers.
Kay is CEO of Cowling Advisory Services and advises healthcare provider organizations, state government, healthcare staffing and home health and hospice organizations on talent acquisition and workforce engagement and retention. She has held positions as CEO, COO, President, and SVP of numerous staffing and national networks in Travel Nursing, Hospital Staffing, Home Care and Hospice and Worker’s Compensation before building her own firm. Cowling is on the Board of Directors of Care Synergy, an alliance representing the largest Hospice providers in Colorado and the International Women’s Forum of Colorado.
Rob is a highly regarded human resources leader, with over 25 years of experience including serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Radian Group, Inc. Today, Rob consults senior leaders and their teams through his role as Vice President of Senior Executive Services at CCI Consulting.
Steve is the System Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky, one of the region’s leading healthcare systems. Prior to joining Norton Healthcare, Dr. Hester practiced emergency medicine full-time as regional medical director for Kentuckiana Emergency Physicians, where he worked to improve quality and volume with significant success while redefining multiple processes within the organization.
Gary is the retired President & CEO of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. He now is an Executive Partner with Waud Capital Partner, working with the firm's significant investments in healthcare services. He is a member of the boards of Becton, Dickinson & Company, LHP Hospital Group, Adreima, Cordant Health Solutions, and Froedtert Health. He is a former Chairman of the American Hospital Association.
Tim started his healthcare career as a pharmacist at Cone Health’s Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. His clinical leadership and commitment to patient care propelled him through a variety of roles in the organization, ultimately being appointed Chief Executive Officer of Cone Health in August 2004. He retired to the position of CEO Emeritus in October 2014.
Jeff Shuman is a global Chief Human Resources Officer with extensive experience leading major transformations and driving shareholder value within multinational, publicly traded consumer (Avon), industrial (Honeywell/Allied Signal), government services /high-tech (Northrop Grumman, Harris Corporation) and healthcare (Quest Diagnostics) companies. Jeff has been a leader in human resources, operations and general management and has established a strong reputation in maximizing the value of acquired entities, digitalizing the workforce, and leading transformations that accelerate growth, drive operations excellence and significantly enhance organizational effectiveness.
