LONDON (March 7, 2019) – Cielo, one of the world’s leading strategic Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partners, won Best Creative Offline Campaign at The Onrec Awards 2019 for its work with global medical technology company Becton Dickinson.

Cielo partnered with Becton Dickinson (BD) to boost hires at the company’s office in Grenoble, France, which hires around 200 people every year. To find qualified senior-level hires, sourcing often must be done outside of France. In creating the compelling brand messaging required to bring people to the area, Cielo proposed a master list of assets and methodology and agreed on a timeline and budget with BD. There was no existing messaging for the Grenoble site, so Cielo embarked upon a weeklong visit to BD’s Grenoble office, conducting several interviews as well as two focus group workshops. There was also a 2-day photo shoot to capture the essence of Grenoble and to bring the BD location to life.

The assets designed as a result included:

  • Relocation story sheets, told by families themselves
  • Leader story sheets
  • Grenoble story sheet
  • EVP infographics
  • Relocation infographics
  • Image library for Grenoble and the BD site

BD recruiters and talent marketers fully adopted the new assets, resulting in several instances of positive internal engagement and an enhanced sense of pride in BD workers from everyone touched by the program.

In terms of talent acquisition results, BD also saw improved attraction and engagement of target talent, including:

  • 16% improvement in time-to-submit
  • 19% improvement in time-to-hire
  • 100% interview-to-offer ration
