BROOKFIELD, WI – February 6, 2019 – Cielo, the world’s leading strategic Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) provider, has been named as one of Milwaukee’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® by the National Association for Business Resources.

Cielo was selected as a winner among hundreds of candidates. The Best and Brightest Program “celebrates those companies that are making better business, creating richer lives and building a stronger community as a whole,” according to a release. In making its selections, the NABR did a thorough examination of each company’s salary structure, benefits, employee engagement and retention efforts, diversity and inclusion initiatives, recognition programs and other ways the company supports employees.

“Profitability and stability are essential for businesses in today’s economic climate,” said Jennifer Kluge, President and CEO of NABR and the Best and Brightest programs. “Companies that recognize that their employees are key to their success achieve staying power. Our 2019 winners create their human resource standards to ensure employee satisfaction, and they set standards for every business to aspire toward.”

The value Cielo places on its employees is illustrated through its dedication to offering professional development through career training, with employees having completed more than 7,000 training hours in 2018. Cielo also recently launched a diversity and inclusion certification program, which 35% of employees have already completed, and has shown strong internal mobility, with 150 promotions having been earned in the U.S. last year.

Celebrate Cielo, the company’s social responsibility committee, is also a testament to the strength of Cielo’s employee engagement. The employee-led group is dedicated to enhancing Cielo’s culture through supporting and executing social, wellness and community initiatives. In 2018, they hosted events to benefit the BloodCenter of Wisconsin, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Elmbrook Humane Society and the American Heart Association, just to name a few. U.S.-based employees donated 1,074 hours of their time in 2018 through Celebrate Cielo initiatives and use of their own Volunteer Time Off, another benefit the company provides.

“Cielo being named a Best and Brightest Place to Work For in Milwaukee serves as a reflection of our culture and the great people we have within our organization,” said Jon Cappelli, Operations Manager at Cielo. “I am truly inspired to work alongside so many who are willing to support others, either through volunteer events, fundraisers, wellness events, or even just by taking time out of the day to have fun or laugh. When you look forward to coming in to work each day, you know you have something special.”

The winners will be recognized at an annual symposium and awards gala on Friday, March 8, 2019, at The Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee.
