BROOKFIELD, WI (November 18, 2020) – Winners of the 2020 North American Talent Board Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards included four clients of Cielo, the world’s leading Recruitment Process Outsourcing provider. The CandEs are awarded by Talent Board, who assesses employers’ hiring processes and candidate experiences with two rounds of comprehensive surveys. Round One captures and evaluates an employer’s recruitment processes and practices that impact candidate experience. Round Two then surveys a random sampling of the employer’s candidates from 2020 – both those hired and not hired – to get their perspectives on whether they would refer other job seekers to the organization, reapply themselves, and how their experience as a job candidate would affect their customer relationship status with the organization.

“Having our partners celebrated for providing outstanding candidate experiences is incredibly gratifying and validates our commitment to putting the candidate journey at the heart of our efforts across the talent acquisition value chain,” said Sue Marks, Cielo’s Founder and CEO.

“We know that people have more options than ever before when it comes to looking for a job, and companies need to treat candidates like customers throughout the process. The technology has to enhance the experience, and the human interaction has to be there at critical moments to make candidates feel valued whether they secure a position or not,” said Greg Summers, President, North America.

Cielo’s partners shared their enthusiasm for the improvements to their candidate experience that led to their CandE recognition:

“At Celanese, we are committed to providing candidates with an engaging and informative experience that aligns with our values, and Cielo has helped us make that happen.” – Jim D’Amico, Global Talent Acquisition Leader, Celanese

“To be successful in our industry, we need to find the best talent out there, and we can’t do that without providing a world-class, consumer-grade candidate experience. Working with Cielo helped us identify ways we could make the application and interview process the best it could be, and being recognized for a CandE Award shows how far we’ve come.” – Ed Ryabovsky, Head of Talent Acquisition, Messer North America

“In a year that saw so much uncertainty, I am extremely proud of the way Walgreens and Cielo continued to partner to offer our candidates a consistently excellent experience. We are aligned in prioritizing care and convenience and I think that really resonates with candidates at all levels.” - Sean Barry, Head of Talent Acquisition - US, Walgreens

The awards will be handed out November 18-19 as part of a virtual conference.
