For Froedtert Health, vacancies had reached a critical mass and the organization knew they needed to focus on their talent acquisition strategy to ensure they could continue to deliver quality care and meet the growing demands of their community.
The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network, a partnership between Froedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin, is a large academic health system with three hospitals, 40 health centers, and more than 12,000 employees. The organization faced significant recruitment challenges related to ongoing growth and knew they needed to focus on their talent acquisition strategy to ensure they could continue to deliver quality care to patients and meet the growing demand of the community. Froedtert Health sought out Cielo Healthcare to perform a Talent Acquisition Assessment. The goal was to capture a holistic view of Froedtert Health's processes and to provide recommendations for critical areas of improvement. Through the consulting engagement, Froedtert Health and Cielo Healthcare formed a strong partnership of mutual trust and shared values, creating the opportunity to take the assessment from recommendations to reality.
Building a Partnership
In 2016, Froedtert Health entered into an enterprise RPO partnership with Cielo Healthcare, and together they set goals that included strategically enhancing the talent acquisition function, ensuring strong compliance and governance, improving service levels to hiring leaders, and optimizing the candidate experience for both internal and external talent. The success has been resounding and widespread. Two years into the RPO partnership, Froedtert Health is now able to match the growing needs of patients and has been able to achieve its strategic growth for the health network through three new health centers that have opened fully staffed, ready to service the community. In addition, Froedtert Health and Cielo Healthcare have implemented a curated mix of best practice technology systems and tools to improve the candidate experience while increasing the quality and quantity of talent.
