This is probably not the first time you have heard that 2016 will be the "Year of the Employer Brand."
In its Global Recruiting Trends Report for 2016, LinkedIn found that employer branding has made a comeback as a top priority. 59% of the world’s employers are boosting their investment in brand creation and management this year.
This is great news!
Cielo's clients certainly have employer branding at the top of their agendas for 2016. It is a new focus for some, and for others it is an ongoing challenge. But for each one, the goal is to remain top-of-mind for the world’s best talent.
Whether your pain point is brand awareness, recruitment targets in emerging markets where your presence is limited or employee engagement, it no doubt keeps you up at night. Luckily, you are not alone. That is why now is the perfect moment for the launch of Employer Brand International's (EBI) inaugural "World Employer Branding Day" which will take place this April.
Brett Minchington and EBI will be bringing together the world’s employer branding leaders from more than 30 countries for two intensive days of learning, networking and inspiration.
Having worked across Europe, North America and Asia Pacific in mature and emerging markets alike, I look forward to participating in an event which, for the first time ever, brings together such diverse approaches to employer branding from so many different markets. There will be much to share and learn.
I hope you join Will Innes and me, along with clients and partners of Cielo's Employer Brand practice, for World Employer Branding Day in Prague on April 28 and 29, 2016.
