Brookfield, WI – May 3, 2013 – Pinstripe’s partnership with The University of Virginia Health System (UVA) was recognized as the North America Recruitment Customer Relationship of the Year during the Ninth Annual Human Resources Outsourcing Association (HROA) Awards Gala last evening.
The HROA Awards, under this year’s theme “Be Transformed,” recognize and promote the organization’s vision and mission to be the single recognized community for improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of outsourcing as part of an overall HR service delivery strategy.
The winning relationship was a partnership between UVA and Pinstripe Healthcare for a year-long, project-based solution with the goal of solving their talent acquisition challenges in the operating room and increasing UVA’s competitive advantage in nursing talent. Working closely with UVA’s internal team to achieve both timely results and a sustainable solution, Pinstripe Healthcare improved UVA’s recruitment process by implementing technology and best practices. The year-long partnership accomplished UVA’s goals and clearly increased the quality of nurses being hired and reduced its dependency on traveling nurse services. The strategic results included: 350 positions filled with an average time-to-fill of 64 days; Hiring Manager Interview to Offer Ratio of 1.6:1; 74% reduction in travelers’ contracts in 12 months; saved a minimum of $1.1 million over the duration of the partnership.
