The third, and fastest growing segment, is the high-value RPO or “customized recruitment services” companies. These high value firms are growing the fastest, combine technology with services, and provide a unique strategic value.
What these companies do is focus on building an integrated recruitment process which becomes “like you.” They learn and help you build your employment brand, revamp or run your career website, screen and interview candidates, and work directly with your line managers. They have designed their businesses to include branding, technology, selection, recruiting, and analytics capability. So they combine marketing, recruiting, technology, and business services.
The companies in this market, which include Randstad SourceRight, Pinstripe, Korn Ferry Futurestep, Kelly OCG, Seven Step RPO, IBM/Kenexa, Alexander Mann, PeopleScout, and many others are starting to grow rapidly … If run well, they have a natural ability to scale. Once their processes and systems are well engineered, they can hire many people rapidly. They understand that while you as a buyer may save money by using them, there is no substitute for quality.
