Author William Tincup shares his many inspirations for compiling the list, saying it started out as a project he was doing for himself and not necessarily planning to share with the public. But then he realized its value. Aside from shining a light on many impressive HR Technology professionals, the list also serves as a resource for organizers looking to book women speakers at conferences. No longer will “we just couldn’t find any” be an excuse.
Tincup prefaces the list by going into detail on several instances when he has been inspired or motivated by women in the industry, whether it was listening to a speech or coming across an innovative campaign. He also shares his desire to grow the list, calling for readers to share other inspiring women in HR technology he missed this go-round.
Excerpt from the article:
“All I’m doing is paying it forward to some of the women who have inspired my own career, and recognizing the badass women who are making a difference in the HR Technology industry. Turns out, there are a ton of them – and thing is, this is just a start.”
We are proud to see Sue, Angela and Kristen on this list of phenomenal women, and could not agree more that they are helping to shape and improve the industry in ways that will have a lasting impact.
